Drugs control wing service rules approved

Shillong, Dec 10: The state Cabinet on Monday approved the service rules for officials of the Meghalaya Drugs Control Wing (MDCW).

Addressing media persons, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said, “As you are aware the MDCW has been there for many years. If I am not wrong, it has been for 50 years but there were no service rules for this department. So we have today cleared those rules.”

He also informed that the cabinet also approved the Meghalaya Commissionerate of Food & Safety Officers and Enforcement and Technical and Subordinate staff Service Services Rules, 2024.
