Case registered against social media influencer

Shillong, Dec 28: Police have registered a case against social media influencer ‘Akash Sagar’ for allegedly violating religious sanctity of a church at Mawlynnong in East Khasi Hills district.

The case was registered following an FIR lodged by social activist Angela Rangad in this connection.

Police are investigating the matter, said district police chief Sylvester Nongtnger.
