State submits ₹1000-cr project proposals

Shillong, Jan 23: Chief minister Conrad K Sangma has sought the Centre’s support for implementation of various projects worth over ₹1,000 crore under the Ministry of Minority Affairs.

Informing this on Wednesday, Sangma said, “I have submitted certain projects amounting to ₹1,000 plus crore for consideration. I have requested the minister to support us in those projects.”

“The minister has asked for further clarification. So we will discuss and we hope that some of the projects will go,” he said.
