National Games Bronze medalist to get govt job

Shillong, Feb 6: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Wednesday announced a state government job for National Games bronze medalist Pynshngain Kurbah as a recognition of his achievement in winning bronze in canoeing in the ongoing 38th edition of the National Games in Uttarakhand.

The chief minister interacted with Kurbah and congratulated the athlete along with Coach Ian Vincent, and Team Manager Sheela Vincent.

“As part of the Sports Policy’s implementation and to acknowledge Pynshngaiñ’s remarkable accomplishment, the Government will provide him with a Government job,” the chief minister said.
