RV Suchiang appointed new state Chief Information Commissioner 

Shillong, Mar 27: The state Cabinet on Wednesday approved the appointment of former chief secretary RV Suchiang as the new state Chief Information Commissioner for a period of 3 years. 

Addressing media persons, cabinet minister and government spokesperson Paul Lyngdoh said, “Today, the cabinet has approved the proposal that RV Suchiang be appointed as new state Chief Information Commissioner for a period of 3 years.” 

He said the post of the Chief Information Commissioner has become vacant since the retirement of H Nongpluh on November 14, 2024.
