CM urged to convene meet on winter capital

Tura, May 3: The A·chik State Peoples’ Front (ASPF) has urged chief minister Conrad K Sangma to convene a meeting with all stakeholders of the Tura Winter Capital demand to discuss the long-standing issue.

The ASPF, which has been running a “Winter Capital Awareness Campaign” held its ninth awareness meeting Balachanda in West Garo Hills on Saturday.

Expressing their solidary with the demand, nokmas of Balachanda, Chandalkona, and Rajabala, and president of A·chik Progressive Approach (APA) Rajabala unit participated in the meeting, stated a press release. The next meeting will be held on May 10 at Raksamgre in West Garo Hills, added the release.
