Committed to party discipline: Timothy D Shira

Shillong, Sep 8: Senior most NPP leader Resubelpara Timothy D Shira, who resigned as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, has expressed his full commitment to the party discipline.

Stating that he relinquished the post following a directive from the high command, the veteran politician said, “I have full trust in the chief minister…he is my favourite chief minister.”

To a question, the Resubelpara MLA said, “I am quite satisfied (with the decision).

On his chances in the possible cabinet reshuffle soon, Shira said, “It is the prerogative of the CM.”
