NEHU holds demonstration of 5G technology

Shillong, Sep 26: The School of Technology, North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), hosted a public demonstration of practical 5G use cases under the project “Deepening of Scientific Research on 5G Use Cases for Solving Challenges of Society.”

Students and innovators showcased prototypes and working solutions developed in the 5G Lab at NEHU, one of the first of its kind in Meghalaya, according to a press release.

Visitors witnessed live demonstrations and presentations illustrating how classroom concepts are being transformed into real-world prototypes.

The initiative is funded by the North Eastern Council (NEC), implemented by the North Eastern Regional Community Resource Management Society (NERCORMS), and carried out in collaboration with Amantya Technologies.
