Shillong, March 6: The National People’s Party (NPP) has announced another five candidates for the upcoming elections to Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC).
The candidates are – Jangseng R Marak (Silkigire), Walbinath Ch Marak (Rongrikimgre), Stevie M Marak (Boldamgre), Sengko D Sangma (Raksamgre) and Dormonat Ch Sangma (Naguapara), according to a NPP State Election Committee notification signed by party’s state president Prestone Tynsong.
The GHADCS polls are scheduled to be held on 10 April 2026.
