Probe into NEIGRIHMS molestation case

Shillong, July 14: Health Minister Wailadmiki Shylla on Tuesday said the government’s action on an alleged molestation case in NEIGRIHMS would depend on the report of inquiry by the institute.

“We have enquired and they have ordered an investigation. We are waiting for their report,” he told reporters.

Shylla said the state will decide on further steps after reviewing the findings.

“Based on their report, we will take action. We need to give them time to complete the inquiry and find out what really happened,” Shylla said.

He added that the government will intervene if any lapses are found.
