Shillong, May 28: The Captain Williamson Sangma State University (CWSSU) will soon start the admission process.

“We are going to issue the admission notice very soon. We are going to start the admission process,” Commissioner & Secretary in-charge Education Vijay Kumar Mantri told reporters on Tuesday.

Refusing to comment on the Bijini Complex issue, he said, “Now it is in the high court and there’s nothing we can comment about it as it is subjudice.”

He said that the Bijini complex issue should not have happened. The state government had proposed to make the Bijini complex as a temporary office of the CWSSU Shillong campus.

“Whenever the central government has anything against the state government as NEHU is a central government so generally NEHU should have taken approval from central government because you file a litigation against the state government so they should have taken approval,” Mantri added.
