Budget has blueprint for developed India: Bihar MLC

Shillong, Feb 13: BJP’s Bihar MLC Devesh Kumar, who is on a visit to Meghalaya as part of a nationwide campaign to bring positive awareness about the Union Budget 2026-27, has termed the budget a blueprint for making India a developed economy by 2047.

“The union budget has a blueprint for making India a developed economy by 2047. Our prime minister talks of Viksit Bharat, aiming to develop India by 2047. So, it’s a step in that direction,” the member of Bihar Legislative Council, upper house of Bihar Assembly, told reporters here on Thursday.

He added that the budget caters to various sections of society, including youth, women, farmers, and entrepreneurs.

“We want to inform each and every citizen of the country about the budget and how it will propel the country to reach a developed status,” he stated.
