Shillong, Feb 1: Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma, today inaugurated the 1st Albera Choir Competition & Food Fest organised by Seng Rangbah Katholik Sawmer as part of its Silver Jubilee Celebration at Don Bosco Sunny Side, Sawmer that had the participation of choirs from various parishes.
Earlier, he also interacted with the members of the Dorbar Shnong, Women’s Organisation and Seng Samla of Sawmer. During the interaction the residents of the locality highlighted various issues of the locality.
The Chief Minister said that the interaction is a reflection of the government’s commitment of engagement at the grassroots level and assured that the needs and demands of the residents will be looked into.
