CM convoy comes in aid of accident victims

Shillong, Jan 13: An act of compassion for fellow human beings has earned appreciation for chief minister Conrad K Sangma and health minister Ampareen Lyngdoh whose humanitarian gesture provided huge succour for two accident victims.

The incident took place near Mawkdok on Sunday while they were returning from Sohra after two hectic days of first ever cabinet retreat there.

Two tourists from Assam suffered minor injuries after they met with an accident on Sunday. 

Upon spotting the distressed tourists, the chief minister’s convoy stopped to offer assistance. 

The doctor accompanying the CM promptly attended to the injured, ensuring they received immediate first aid.

An ambulance was swiftly called, and the victims were transported to the hospital for further care. 

Timely intervention of the chief minister and his team earned appreciation from onlookers, highlighting the importance of compassionate leadership.
