Tura, March 22: In a bid to strengthen its youth force across the Garo Hills region ahead of next year’s Garo Hills Autonomous District Council elections, the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) organized a daylong leadership training for its party youth at the SMELC building in Dakopgre, Tura on Friday.

The training, spearheaded by senior Congress leaders Deborah Marak- former Working President of MPCC and former Deputy Chief Minister, and AICC Secretary in charge of Meghalaya Mathew Anthony, laid emphasis on equipping its youth leaders with essential training for the future.
