Contrabands worth Rs 37 lakh seized

Shillong, June 12: BSF personnel seized contrabands worth over Rs 37 lakh during an operation launched after detecting suspicious movement of smugglers in East Khasi Hills and West Jaintia Hills districts near the Indo-Bangla border.

The BSF arrested two Indian nationals along with a vehicle, which were later handed over to local police authorities for further proceedings.
