CRB cautions against fake notice on exams result

Shillong, Aug 19: The Central Recruitment Board (CRB) of Meghalaya Police has issued a public notice warning candidates about a fake press release circulating on social media, claiming to publish marks for the recently concluded written examinations.

According to Dalton P Marak, Inspector General of Police and chairman of CRB Meghalaya Police, Shillong, no such press release has been issued by the board, and candidates are advised to disregard the misinformation.

Candidates are informed that official communications and updates will only be published on the Meghalaya Police’s official website and in leading state newspapers.

The CRB has requested the public to exercise caution and refrain from believing or sharing unverified information.
