District Level Science Mathematics and Environment Exhibition held

Baghmara,March 19: The  students from in and around Baghmara area participated with great zeal and enthusiasm in a  one day long District Level Science Mathematics and Environmental Exhibition at Rangku Memorial Girls Secondary School Baghmara.

The Director Balpakram National Park Smt N.R.Marak while congratulating the student participants said that, ‘Since the theme itself is “Science and technology for Sustainable future”.

Therefore Sustainability is the key for our survival.’ Gone are the days when we could use and throw things. We have already reached to the point of our lives where we see the resources are fast depleting. Hence, it is high time that we use our available resources thoughtfully while keeping in mind that we leave behind something for our future generation.’she said.

Others who were present and spoke on the occasion includes Shri Salgira D Sangma Resource Person, Smt Roshni Dev Asst Teacher Don Bosco Higher Secondary School and Smt P.M.Sangma Science Supervisor.

During the Exhibition Don Bosco Higher Secondary School bagged the 1st prize while Pioneers Secondary School and Jagarani Secondary School recieved 2nd and 3rd prize respectively.
