EGH to celebrate World Rabies Day

Shillong, Sept 24: A series of events will be organised on World Rabies Day from September 23 to 28 including awareness programmes, rallies, slogan writing and vaccination drives at different venues in  East Garo Hills.

According to a circular issued by the District Medical and Health Officer (DM&HO), East Garo Hills Health and Family Welfare Department with the support of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department will be holding these events in all the three C&RD Blocks and the district headquarter.

The events will be organised at Songsak Agitokgre Secondary School playground on September 24; RMSA School, Rongjeng and Chiading Market on September 27; and DRDA Hall-I, Williamnagar on September 28.
