Farewell to DP Wahlang

Shillong, Sep 30: Chief Secretary DP Wahlang, who retired from service after his 32 years of service in Meghalaya government, was given a warm farewell on Tuesday.

During Tuesday’s cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Wahlang for his committed service.

“Wahlang will be retiring today and he has given 32 years of service to the state and the people,” Sangma said.

He also recalled Wahlang’s contributions to the state, acknowledging his tireless efforts and dedication to public service.
