Ganesh Das Hospital wins laurels for state

Shillong, June 20: In a recognition to the state’s efforts to improve public healthcare services, Ganesh Das Government Maternal & Child Health Hospital in Shillong has been awarded the prestigious Bronze Quality Certification by the Quality Council of India (QCI).

The certification is for the hospital’s adherence to Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) Bronze Quality Standards.

It also marks a significant milestone for both the institution and Meghalaya, highlighting the state’s steady progress in elevating healthcare delivery through efficient, safe, and patient-centric services, stated an official release.

“The recognition also serves as a reflection of the tireless dedication and excellence demonstrated by healthcare professionals at the hospital,” it said.

Health department officials lauded the Ganesh Das Hospital team for their commitment to maintaining quality benchmarks in maternal and child healthcare, reaffirming Meghalaya’s health priorities and focus on accessible and dependable services for all citizens, it added.
