Garo Hills dance group wins top award in Mumbai

Tura, Dec 23: ARYAAN Dance Academy from Mendipathar in North Garo Hills district has brought fame to the region by bagging the best award in the recent 2nd International Mumbai Carnival & Music Festival 2024 in Mumbai.

The music and dance competition was held last week at Mumbai’s Cintaa Tower in Andheri West and included Bollywood choreographers as invitees.

Aryaan Dance Academy headed by a young Aryaan K Sangma gave a electrifying performance on the dance floor and swept the judges of their feet. The academy was awarded the best dance group and selected to participate in the upcoming Carnival in Dubai in 2025.

Lead artist Aryaan was also adjudged with the individual Bollywood Iconic Star award during the programme.
