Govt to support Ed Sheeran concert organisers

Shillong, Feb 6: Tourism Minister Paul Lyngdoh on Wednesday said the government will extend full support for the upcoming Ed Sheeran’s concert at JN Stadium in the city.

“I will chair a high-level meeting on February 6. The BookMyShow organiser will be here for the next 3-4 days to ensure that all logistics are in place and whatever support required from the state government in terms of policing, security, medical facilities, clearance of road will be discussed in detail,” he told reporters.

Lyngdoh also said the concert venue is equipped with the latest turf protector technology and the same is being used across the globe.
