Hek flags ‘obscene’ poster of Goa event

Shillong, Nov 28: Former minister and BJP leader AL Hek has sought immediate intervention of Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant in the matter of a “obscene and vulgar” social media campaign to promote an event in Goa.

Hek, in his letter to Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, said the poster promoting the event titled “Tales of Kamasutra & Christmas Celebration” was purportedly issued in the name of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh Foundation.

He said the content was unacceptable and particularly hurtful to the sentiment of the Christian community.

He urged the Goa Chief Minister to verify the authenticity of the event and its promotional materials and, if found genuine, to initiate appropriate legal action against the organisers.
