HSPDP names 8 candidates for ADC polls

Shillong, Dec 21: The Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) on Friday announced its first list of eight candidates for the autonomous district council (ADC) elections in Khasi and Jaintia Hills scheduled for February 21 next year.

For Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), the regional party named six candidates: Jubanlang Kharbihkhiew – Mawkhar Pynthorumkhrah, Lurshai Lyngwa – Jaiaw-Mawprem, Stodingstar Thabah – Nongspung-Sohiong, Polanding Sohphoh – Mawkyrwat, Badariti Lyngdoh Nonglait – Nongstoin and K Phlastingwell Pangniang – Rambrai Jyngam.

The HSPDP candidates for Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) are: Neh Langki Pala – Sutnga Nongkhlieh and Wanshwa Nongtdu – Narpuh.
