JSU thanks govt for setting up MPSC exam Centre at Jowai

Shillong, Apr 8: The Jaintia Students’ Union (JSU) on Saturday expressed gratitude to the MDA 2.0 government, under the leadership of the Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, for establishing an MPSC Examination Centre at Jowai. 

The union also thanked Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar for playing a crucial role in making the long-standing request of the people of Jaintia Hills a reality within a short period of time.

“Following the establishment of the MPSC Examination Centre, the Jaintia Students’ Union urges and reminds the Government of the importance of supporting the youth by setting up NEET, CUET, and NET examination centres in Jowai. This will enable students and aspirants, especially those living in remote and rural areas of our region, to participate in these examinations without facing unnecessary difficulties,” the union said in a statement.
