Manipur Police bust extortion ring, arrest two KCP-PWG activists

Imphal, Feb 5: Manipur Police have dismantled an extortion ring linked to an underground outfit operating primarily in Imphal East district.

Two activists of the proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party-People’s War Group (KCP-PWG) were arrested for their involvement in illegal money collection from government employees and the general public.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Ningthoujam Jupiter Singh alias Bungcha (27) and Sorokhaibam Amar
