Kohima, Mar 17: Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav on Tuesday emphasised the significance of recognising the sacrifices of the armed forces, and stated that veterans and Veer Naris (war widows) are living symbols of the nation’s strength and resilience.

Addressing the Ex-Servicemen Rally at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, the governor paid tribute to veterans and their families for their service to the nation.

He lauded the Indian Army for its professionalism and continued commitment to the welfare of ex-servicemen and Veer Naris, adding that such initiatives reinforce the spirit of camaraderie and lifelong support.
