Tura, Feb 6: A notorious criminal wanted for murder and a string of robbery cases has been arrested by Tikrikilla police in West Garo Hills on Wednesday.
The accused identified as Klanson Sangma had been evading arrest for close to a year before falling into the police net.
He is wanted in several robbery incidents and a suspected murder case, informed West Garo Hills SP Abraham T Sangma.
Police seized from his possession a country made single barrel shot gun (SBBL), a dummy rifle, and a military camouflage dress.
