NDA committed to Bodo empowerment: PM Modi hails ALA session in Kokrajhar

Guwahati, Feb 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the upcoming one-day special Assembly session in Kokrajhar on February 17, calling it a historic step toward fulfilling the aspirations of the Bodo community.

Responding to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s announcement on X (formerly Twitter), Modi reaffirmed the NDA government’s unwavering commitment to the development and empowerment of the Bodo people.

“The NDA governments, both at the Centre and in Assam, have been working tirelessly to empower the Bodo community and fulfill their aspirations. These efforts will continue with even greater vigor,” Modi posted.

The Prime Minister also reminisced about his visit to Kokrajhar, where he witnessed the rich and vibrant Bodo culture, emphasizing the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure the progress and welfare of the community.
