Shillong, Nov 20: A three-day national workshop titled “Research Support Services: Role of Libraries and Library Professionals in the Digital Landscape” was inaugurated at Department of Library and Information Science, North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) on Thursday.
The workshop has brought together working library professionals, research scholars, and professors to strategise on the evolving role of academic libraries in the 21st century.
The workshop addresses the urgent need for libraries to transition from traditional repositories into dynamic “Research Catalysts”.
The event features a panel of eminent experts and academicians from premier institutions across India.
