NEIGRIHMS staff take Swachhata pledge

Shillong, Sept 18: Faculty members of NEIGRIHMS along with nursing officers, section heads, students and staff participated in the Swachhata Pledge administered by officiating Director, Senior Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Rapheal and Medical Superintendent, Prof. (Dr) C. Daniala, on Wednesday. 

NEIGRIHMS will observe ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ fortnight from September 17 to October 2 with the theme ‘Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskaar Swachhata’.

Prof. (Dr) C. Daniala said that NEIGRIHMS is one of the cleanest hospitals in the nation which is evident from the visitors who have praised the cleanliness at the institute and also appreciated the sanitation staff in keeping it clean.

Prof. (Dr) Vandana Rapheal also praised the sanitation team along with the infection control team in keeping the institute not only visibly clean but also clean of non-visible organisms which may cause infections. 

NEIGRIHMS has also organised various activities in the coming days such as waste-to-art competition, community cleaning drive and health check-up camps for sanitation staff to promote the campaign.
