New Meghalaya House in Bangalore soon

Shillong, Sept 10: Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong has announced that a new Meghalaya House will be inaugurated in Bangalore soon.

The decision comes in response to numerous demands from people who have been requesting the establishment of a Meghalaya House in the city.

Replying to a cut motion in the Assembly on Wednesday, Tynsong also informed that he would review the condition of existing Meghalaya Houses and instruct officers to ensure they are properly maintained, both in terms of outlook and internal facilities.

Regarding pending bills, the Deputy Chief Minister assured that the issue has been noted and efforts will be made to ensure that contractors receive their payments quarterly.
