Guwahati, Nov 26: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has initiated comprehensive investigations into three major cases connected to the recent wave of violence in Manipur. This action follows the Union Ministry of Home Affairs’ (MHA) directive to bring the perpetrators to justice promptly.
The NIA re-registered the cases on November 13, 2024, after the MHA deemed it necessary to transfer the investigations to the agency, considering the severity of the crimes and the need to uncover the broader conspiracy behind the brutal attacks.
