Shillong, Dec 3: United Democratic Party (UDP) leader Paul Lyngdoh dismissed allegations of joining the National People’s Party (NPP), calling them “conjectures and theories”.
“I do not know where…these are all conjectures and theories,” Lyngdoh said, emphasizing that he has no intention of leaving the UDP.
Lyngdoh stated that internal party issues should be discussed within the party, acknowledging that some sections are unhappy with the recent reshuffle handled by the party leadership.
“Of course, there are various sections within the party which are not happy with the way that the reshuffle was handled by the party leadership but these are matters which we will discuss internally,” he said.
The UDP leader asserted his commitment to the party, declaring, “I insist on one point which is that throughout my career in the political sphere, I have always been a fighter and never a quitter. I will not quit that easily.”
