RBI holds quiz to celebrate its 90th year 

Guwahati, Nov 14: The state-level round of RBI90Quiz for Assam was conducted in Guwahati where 180 students representing 90 teams competed. 

RBI90Quiz is a multiple-level general knowledge-based quiz competition for undergraduate students being held throughout the year 2024 to commemorate 90th year of operations of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

The winners are: champion – Sayan Mazumdar and Bishwayan Bhattacharjee from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital; first runner-up – Kishan Mittal and Ayush Maurya from NIT Silchar; and second runner-up – Arijit Basishtha and Disha Baishya from Assam Engineering College. Prizes for the top three teams are of ₹2 lakh, ₹1.5 lakh, and ₹1 lakh, respectively.

The participants for the state-level completion were chosen on their performance in an online quiz conducted from September 19-21, 2024. 

The winning team will now compete in the Zonal round to be held at Guwahati on November 29. The national final will be held at Mumbai in December 2024.
