Soft skills workshop at KBV University

Guwahati, May 24: A workshop on soft skills development for students to improve their interpersonal and professional skills was held at Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit and Ancient Studies University (KBVS & ASU), Nalbari, Assam on Friday.

Acquisition of essential soft skills including public speaking, etiquette and manners, problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, stress and time management, and thinking critically were taken up by resource person Nurul Islam Laskar, chairperson Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Guwahati Chapter during the workshop.

Another resource person digital practitioner Babiba Sultana spoke on “Artificial Intelligence (AI)” in daily life where she explained how AI is transforming communication, work methods, and decision-making.

In a quiz contest held during the workshop, Parismita Das, Bandana Deka, and Bibek Gope were adjudged the first three winners.

Vice-chancellor Prof Prahlad R Joshi, registrar Dr Bikas Bhargav Sharma, academic registrar Prof Jyotiraj Pathak, and HoD Education Mollika Kalita also attended the workshop.
