Of those registered, 2,235 students hail from Khasi-Jaintia Hills while 4,850 are from Garo Hills region.

SSLC Supplementary Examination serves as a second chance for students who did not clear the regular SSLC exams held earlier this year.

In the results declared by Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE), 41,275 of total 51,560 students cleared the hurdle with a pass percentage of about 80%. This left 8,918 students eligible for the supplementary round.

The Board has assured that results of Supplementary Exam will be declared within May itself, enabling successful candidates to enroll in higher secondary institutions without delay.

Commissioner and secretary (Education) Vijay Kumar Mantri in a congratulatory message to the students said, “The Education Department wishes all the best to all the students appearing for the SSLC Supplementary Examination, 2025.”
