Storms affected 4,337 families in 2023, says Shylla

Shillong, Sept 11: Over 4337 families were affected by storms during the year 2023.
This was informed by Minister in-charge Revenue & Disaster Management Kyrmen Shylla in his reply to a starred question tabled in the Assembly on Thursday.

The government has sanctioned Rs 14.44 crore for payment of compensation to the affected families, he stated.
