Shillong, Sept 28: Thieves allegedly broke into a South Garo Hills school, and stole a laptop and cash after forcing open five locks to enter different office rooms.
The incident came to light on the morning of September 27 when the Sisters of St. John’s Higher Secondary School, Siju noticed that the locks of several office rooms had been damaged.
No FIR or written complaint has been filed so far. The thieves reportedly searched the offices before stealing an HP laptop and around Rs 4,000 in cash.
