Tynsong resumes work

Shillong, Oct 15: Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Home (Police) Prestone Tynsong on Monday resumed office after undergoing surgery in New Delhi on September 18.

Tynsong met officials of the home department and took a review of the situation in the state.

Talking to reporters, the deputy CM said, “I joined work today and the day was good.”

Tynsong was discharged from Apollo Hospital on September 18, after undergoing a surgery.

Tynsong was admitted to the New Delhi hospital on September 11 after being diagnosed with acute subdural hematoma. 

On September 12, medical team successfully performed surgery to remove the hematoma.
