Meghalaya model to contest in Miss Tourism World finals

Shillong, Jan 5: Reigning Miss Tourism India Irene Dkhar is set to represent India in Miss Tourism World 2025 Global Finals scheduled for January 10 in Guangdong, China. 

Dkhar will join contestants from over 60 countries and regions, including the United States, France, Brazil, Venezuela, and members of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, stated a press release.

Besides Miss Tourism India 2024 title that she won at Jaipur, Rajasthan, Irene Dkhar also has to her credit Miss Meghalaya 2022, Miss Northeast 2022, Femina Miss India Meghalaya 2023, and Miss Grand India Meghalaya 2024.

Miss Meghalaya Organisation extended its best wishes to Dkhar, expressing hope that she will bring the crown home.
