State amends Meghalaya Housing Engineering and Technical Service Rules, 2017

Shillong, Apr 9: The state Cabinet on Tuesday approved the amendment of the Meghalaya Housing Engineering and Technical Service Rules, 2017 of the principal rules for the housing department.

Informing this after the meeting, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma said,”As there was some additional posts that were created by the housing department for the overall execution of different works and responsibilities, those different categories have to be included in the service rules and so the service rules was amended to include those new categories of employees and staff that were introduced by the housing department.”

“All these have been vetted by the law department, personnel department and finance department,” he added.
