Shillong nurse awarded in Kerala

Shillong, June 8: Rikadeisuk Suting, a nurse serving at a hospital in the city, has been awarded Young Leader Award (YLA) 2025 by the Association of Nurse Executives India at Kochi, Kerala recently.

Suting, engaged as Quality Nurse at serving as a Quality Nurse at the Supercare Hospital, was awarded for her leadership in patient safety, quality improvement, and community nursing.

She is known for her innovative approach to healthcare delivery and her dedication to improving systems with compassion and impact, stated a press release.

“This recognition is not only a personal achievement for Ms Suting but also a celebration of the nursing community’s spirit and its vital contribution to healthcare — especially in the Northeast region…,” said Dr RS Thangkhiew, managing director, Supercare Hospital.
