CM asks MLAs to review development work

Shillong, July 10: Chief minister Conrad K Sangma has instructed all MLAs to review and assess the progress of development works in their respective constituencies.

The instruction was issued by the chief minister during his meeting held with 22 MLAs from Garo Hills in Shillong recently, said NPP leader and deputy chief minister Sniawbhalang Dhar.

Informing this, Dhar said the MLAs discussed developmental activities in their respective constituencies.

Dhar also said the chief minister had instructed the MLAs to review and assess the development work done in their constituencies over the past two and a half years.

He mentioned that a similar meeting for Jaintia Hills MLAs is yet to be scheduled.

When asked about a possible cabinet reshuffle, Dhar deferred the decision to the chief minister stating that it was up to him to decide.
