Tribute paid to Capt Clifford Nongrum

Shillong, Aug 14: As part of the War Martyr Outreach Program, a state BJP delegation, led by Rikman G Momin and BJP MLA Sanbor Shullai, visited the home and museum of Capt Keishing Clifford Nongrum MVC (posthumous) and paid homage to the heroic soldier.

While remembering the exemplary valour displayed by Capt Clifford Nongrum in combat, Rikman G Momin spoke about how the immortal memory of the martyr continues to inspire ordinary citizens across the country.

Shullai reminded everyone of the courage, dedication to duty and spirit of sacrifice for a greater cause as displayed by Capt Clifford Nongrum stands as a monument of glory, a beacon of patriotism whose brightness can never fade.
