Budapest, Nov 24: The Sport Forum Hungary 25, was held from November 19–20, 2025, become the largest and most influential professional sports platform in Hungary and Central Europe.

On its fourth edition, the two-day conference brought together more than 1,800 participants, including professionals from sports governance, coaching, clubs, federations, media, education, innovation, and business.
The 2025 event featured high-profile speakers and journalists from every continent, broadening the forum’s international reach with diverse perspectives and insights. These global contributors helped amplify the forum’s message on the unifying and cross-border impact of sport and knowledge.
Women Sports journalists from Slovakia, Algeria, Panama, Colombia, Azerbaijan and India were invited for the prestigious event to take part in panel discussions to share and voice their concerns over important global issues like Women Sports in the Media: Visibility= Value.

From Underrated to Inevitable
Making Women’s Sports Seen and Sold, Women’s Role and Representation in the Global Sports Media Industry-Leadership and Participation Across the Continents. The women sports journalists laid emphasis for more and participation of women sports journalists to bring out incredible stories of women athletes.
The forum also discussed on adapting to new media and role of it and challenges faced by the traditional media in today’s world.
Talking to this reporter, Dr Zsuzsa Csisztu a former Olympic Gymnast and currently the Vice President of the Hungarian Sports Journalists Association said ‘Sports Industry cannot be imagined without Sports Journalists; we are an essential part of it creating the link between consumers and performers(athletes). Stakeholders of the industry are getting to realize what a big percentage of female sports can be regained from the investments in the future because female sports is big and will be bigger in the future”.
The forum emphasizes Hungary’s growing reputation not only as a premier host of major international sporting events but also as a regional hub for sports expertise, professional growth, and innovation. Its broader mission is to showcase and strengthen this knowledge-based value globally.
