Shillong, Jan 22: An HNLC cadre, the alleged mastermind behind the IED attack on Dhar Construction Company in December last year, was among two persons arrested by police in this connection on Thursday.

“Issei Sungoh @ Sei @ Bah (29) of Mynso B, West Jaintia Hills District and Embha Ladong (25) of Shymplong, East Jaintia Hills District were arrested during a joint operation by East Jaintia Hills Police and West Jaintia Hills Police,” East Jaintia Hills superintendent of police (SP) Vikash Kumar said in a statement on Thursday.
