Shillong, May 9: Altogether 183 cases for a total amount of Rs 1.35 lakh was settled in a National Lok Adalat organised in Meghalaya High Court and all districts of the state on Saturday.
A total of 625 cases were taken up during the Lok Adalat.
“242 pre-litigation cases and 383 pending cases were taken up for settlement,” the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority said in a statement.
