Union minister meets assembly speaker

Shillong, Aug 16: Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ram Nath Thakur, met with the Assembly Speaker, Thomas A. Sangma, at his office in the city, on Friday. 

The union minister held discussions about the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly where Deputy Speaker Timothy D Shira, Cabinet minister Marcuise N Marak and Commissioner & Secretary, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, Dr Andrew Simons were also in attendance.
